Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to Magnificent Therapeutics. Please review these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") carefully before booking or utilizing our services. By booking an appointment via our online platform (Vagaro), phone, or in person, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Services & Independent Operation

Magnificent Therapeutics provides professional, licensed therapeutic massage, sports massage, athletic recovery, prenatal massage, and assisted mobility stretching ("Services").

Important Disclosure: Magnificent Therapeutics operates as a completely independent business entity leasing space inside Faithful Hands Massage & Wellness located at 6317 Northwest Hwy, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Faithful Hands Massage & Wellness is merely a landlord facility provider. There is no partnership, joint venture, or shared liability between Magnificent Therapeutics and Faithful Hands Massage & Wellness.

2. Booking, Payments, and Billing

Booking Platform: All digital appointments are managed and processed securely via the third-party provider Vagaro.

Credit Card Policy: A valid credit card must be kept on file within our Vagaro secure system to hold and guarantee all appointments.

Payment Terms: Payment for services rendered is due immediately upon the conclusion of the session. We accept major credit cards, cash, and digital payments supported by Vagaro.

3. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Show Policies

We value your time and ask that you respect ours. We enforce a strict 24-hour cancellation policy to ensure other clients can access open time slots.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time will result in a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service price.

No-Shows: If you miss your scheduled appointment without providing any prior notice, your card on file will be automatically charged 100% of the scheduled service price.

Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for an in-studio appointment, your session will still end at its originally scheduled time so that the next client is not delayed. You will remain responsible for the full cost of the scheduled service duration.

4. Studio Rules & Health Disclosures

Arrival Time: For in-studio care at our Crystal Lake location, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time to allow for a proper intake assessment.

Medical Accuracy: Clients are legally obligated to provide accurate, complete, and updated medical history on their Vagaro digital intake forms. You must disclose all allergies, medications, past surgeries, and conditions (including pregnancy).

Right to Refuse Service: Magnificent Therapeutics reserves the right to deny, cut short, or cancel a session immediately if a therapist feels unsafe, encounters inappropriate behavior, or determines that a medical condition makes massage unsafe for the client. Inappropriate behavior of a sexual or aggressive nature results in immediate termination of the session with zero refund.

5. Premium Mobile (In-Home) Services

For clients utilizing our premium mobile tier where services are rendered at the client’s private residence or corporate workplace:

Safe Environment: The client must provide a clean, safe, climate-controlled environment with adequate physical clearance for a professional massage table.

Pet Policy: All domestic pets must be safely secured in a separate room for the entirety of the therapist’s setup, service, and breakdown time.

Geographic Boundaries: In-home sessions are restricted to our designated local service radius. Travel surcharges may apply outside this zone as outlined at checkout via Vagaro.

6. Limitation of Liability & Waiver

By receiving services from Magnificent Therapeutics, you explicitly acknowledge that massage therapy involves manual soft-tissue manipulation and physical stretching which carries inherent risks.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with receiving treatment.

You agree to release, waive, and forever discharge Magnificent Therapeutics, its owner (Donovan J.), employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising out of physical injury, property damage, or illness occurring during or after your session.

You further agree that Faithful Hands Massage & Wellness bears zero liability for services rendered by, or interactions with, Magnificent Therapeutics within the leased facility spaces.

7. Modifications to This Agreement

Magnificent Therapeutics reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted immediately on our primary domain website (magnificenttherapeutics.com) and updated within the Vagaro system checkouts. Continued booking of services following changes constitutes explicit acceptance of the updated terms.
